Dear all,
this is the first light captured with the ASI174MM uncooled and my new Halpha 7nm filter under urban sky of Turin.
Exposure: 50x60seconds not guided.
Things I learned from this test:
1) I need more signal, 60 min is not enough with the H-alpha filter of 7nm;
2) the H-alpha filter is a very big help against the light pollution;
3) In 60 seconds the amp glow is...big! But with a good Dark, Bias and Flat it can be controlled;
4) NGC700 is too big for a focal of 280mm+ASI174MM;
5) I have to do a better post processing;
6) I am still far from the limit of my setup.
Any suggestions, comments or criticism is welcome.
Regards,
Pasquale
