Connection issues

Hi i bought an Asi185MC camera and am trying to get it connected to my computer.

Windows 7 64bit. USB 3.0. I7 processor, 16GB RAM, SSD harddisk. Device manager shows the device without errors (version driver 1.0.0.3 23/11/14), but for example firecapture can`t find it.

The standard app usb3_cameras shows the device, but even as the device is unplugged. If i unplug the cam this app comments about an error while capturing error code 80040209, plugged in no error shows. But in preview the screen stays black...

Am i doing something wrong, or is the device not ok?

you can also try SharpCap2.8

I think the FC you tried is too old

Hi thx for the respons. It can connect by sharpcap, it can read out the temperature of the chip for example. But there is only a black view... with the lens attached no visible image can be distilled...

How about small resolutions?

what is the fps show in Sharpcap?

0 frames and 0 dropped. 0.0 fps. The clock keeps counting. In resolution 320x240 also a black view
