120mm usb2 does not work in usb3 socket

I have the driver 2.7.3.21 on w10 with a usb2 model asi120mm. It works fine in phd2 and firecapture when using a usb2 socket but the same camera is not recognised on the same laptop when plugged into a usb3 socket.

I need to upgrade my laptop and the model I have in mind has only usb3. Is there a fix to make the camera recognised on usb3?

I think the problem should be error code 10?
