Im trying to get the adc to work with a C14, and a 290mm camera. Is there a limit to the focal ratio? Can I use it before the barlow? Can I use it without a barlow? I have heard people say anything below f20 causes optical aberations??
ADCs can handle f/10, but not faster, so you should be able to use it fine, without Barlows.
What about using it before the barlow?
It will work. I tested ADC with f/10 SCT and small-pixeled MS Lifecam and it worked correctly. I've noticed that at f/10 it needed less lever travel than at f/20 to correct for the dispersion.
