I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. In SharpCap 2.8 and 2.9, the FPS will not go over 23fps, even when setting ROI really small. In FireCapture, the FPS will not go over 5fps and will not go over 20fps with ROI set. The exposure setting were set very low, like 5ms. It appears the camera connects as USB3. I tried adjusting the USB traffic settings higher but that didn't help. I also reinstalled the camera and ASCOM drivers and the problem still occurs. The camera worked normally in Windows 7. Is there a driver issue with this camera in Windows 10? This is my primary planetary imaging camera and right now I cannot use it for that purpose. I use to be able to get 100fps easily with ROI set. If there is anyone who can recommend ways to get this corrected I would greatly appreciate it. I really don't want to revert to Windows 7 everything else seems to be working well so far, including the ASI174MM camera.
Basically, the ASI178MC worked perfectly in Windows 7 and now it has degraded performance in Windows 10. The ASI174MM is working perfectly in Windows 10 with the same software. No software settings were changed!
Thanks.
