TIFF images with ASI178MC with oaCapture on El Capitan

Anyone using oaCapture successfully for TIFF's on El Capitan?

Behavior is erratic, must start from terminal, setting long exposure time is almost impossible..

SER files are mostly OK if binned or ROI is used.

TIFFs OK for short exposure times but can't get 30 second exposure to work.

maybe nebulosity is more suitable for long exposure job
