ASI178MC showing up B&W in FireCapture 2.5.06 Beta

Hello

I am the newest-newbie to your forum as well as new to astrophotography.

i just received my ASI78MC and i have installed the latest FC 2.5.06 Beta on my windows 7 32-bit machine.

My computer ONLY has USB 2.0 ports (no USB 3), the computer "sees" the camera and it appears as tho i can control the camera's settings

my problem is, in FC, the preview window of the camera's view of my office (it has the little fish-eye lens on it) is in black and white. i can't find where to change my preview to color; as the 178mc is a cmos color camera

please advise

In the settings, under Image: "Debayer and capture color data" is greyed out

it will not let me check it

Even under the Options on the main screen "Debayer" is greyed out

Make sure 16 bit is NOT selected.
