ASI-178 Simultaneous Autoguiding and Imaging?

I have not yet used the ASI-178mm-cool on my scope, but have a basic question on which I am unclear.

Can this camera be used to simultaneously autoguide and image?

Nope, it can't guide and do imaging.

The only thing is possible is self-guiding on very short exposures by FireCapture - it looks at the captured frame and tries to keep the planet in the field of view. It won't work for longer exposures.
