SDK: Difference between ASICamera and ASICamera2

Hi everyone,

short question:

What's the difference between ASICamera and ASICamera2 in the SDK? I find always two versions of header-files, librarys and dokumentations (with few different functions, most of them with equal purposes), but nothing declares the mainly differences. What lib should I use for the ASI178MC initially under windows, later under linux on an arm-architecture?

I've implemented the ASICamera2 lib and it works fine under windows and linux (banana pi) in exposure-mode (video-mode not tested).
