USB3 Problem with ASI 1600MM-C and SGP

Using SGP and a new desktop computer, I am only able to take a few pictures before SGP gets hung up while "downloading" a picture from the ASI 1600MM-C. The camera is plugged directly into a USB3 port. If I plug the camera into a USB2 port on the same computer, SGP runs fine all night. For now, USB2 is adequate, but eventually I would like to get it to work with USB3.

Any ideas on what to try to make it work?

FYI - I just successfully completed a whole series of flats, bias and dark sequences using the ASI 1600MM-C and USB3, without a single hang up. The problems that I had last night with USB3 must have been either:

1. A result of using the SGP Frame and Focus tool or

2. A result of simultaneously using other programs, namely PHDs and CDC. But the camera was the only USB3 device that I had, so I don't understand why there would be a conflict.
