hi just wondered if anyone had any comments on the 178 v 1600 mono cooled cameras from zwo for dso ,is the difference in price worth it,
Different pixel size, different sensor size -> for different setups.
Really depends on what telescope you intend to use the cameras on.
I have the 178MM-Cool and I use this camera on a short focal length (500mm or less) telescope due to the small pixels in order to beat the seeing.
1600 is the first dedicated DSO imaging camera from us
no regret to choose it
