As far as I understood, this is going to happens for all the cooled cameras. Maybe, using a cooled camera for guiding, even those with smaller sensors, is considered an overkill.
For non-cooled cameras, mainly those with smaller sensors, a ST4 port is almost a need and removing it is a real downgrade.
