HyperStar C14 Suitable ZWO camera

Sam and others I have the C14 and thinking about purchasing the C14 HyperStar.. what would be a Suitable ZWO camera..? I was thinking the New ZWO ASI 1600MC-Cool (color) (USB) would be suitable... any suggesting.. Thanks AL

Allso Sam Can you tell me which power supply I need and do you offer one for the New ASI 1600MC-Cool (color)(USB) I did not see one on your sight .. would this power supply work.?

Update... Received the Hyperstar and the New ZWO ASI 1600MC-Cool (color) (USB) its up and running.. so far so good I really like the chip size first pic was a couple nights ago..

900 sec (15 min) 30sec X 30 frames -20C no filters no darks no flats

My processing is horrible, any way I did the best I could. ck out the pics.

That spacer attaches the camera to the Hyperstar, the Camera and Hyperstar has the same male thread (I think T-thread) check the pics I attatched.

On the ZWO sight drawing its 11 millimeters (0.433 inch) I can't measure now camera staying on hyperstar for a while.

According to Starizona Hyperstar backfocus for 14" model is 67.4mm.

The backfocus for ASI1600 is 17.5mm if you use the 11mm spacer (otherwise 6.5).

So you should have a 49.9mm spacer.

C14 + Hyperstar + ASI1600MC ... back focus needed 2.650 in

Starizona Adapter for ZWO ASI1600MC Camera + Hyp + C14 1.965 in + ZWO ISA1600MC Camera back focus.685 in = 2.650 in

I'm using Sharpcap as well with my ASI1600MC-Cool. I do EAA (Electronically-Assisted Astronomy) with my ASI1600MC. I use Sharpcap for image capture and use AstroToaster for the live stacking. AstroToaster allows more on-the-fly adjustments to the image as its being stacked. Hope to get a Hyperstar at some point. Thanks for sharing your images!
