Dismantle ASI120 MC problem

Hello everybody,

my Name is Svend.

I´m 47 years old. I´m from northern Germany and the new one here : .

Since half a year I own an ASI120 MC Version V1.6. (What means with USB 2.0 and ST4 port.)

To install a temperature sensor for an external cooling system (yes I know...haha...another one ) at the inside, I need to get the hole pcb out of the cam shell.

Open the housing and loosen the four screws that hold on the pcb is/was not the Problem.

In older Versions without ST4 port nothing more was to do, the pcb could be taken now.

But since this newer Version additional has a ST4 port mounted 90° to the USB port, I can´t find out how I can get it out. Is there a trick? How do ZWO get the pcb out? (for example for a repair)

To be serious...how did ZWO get it in?

Has anyone an idea?

The front is actually a lid that unscrews and you can take the electronics out.

I know how to open.

As told the housing is already open and the electronic (complete pcb including the ports) loosen.

But it can´t be taken out (liftet up enough) cause the USB and ST4 ports mechanical blocking in the aluminium housing.

you need to unsolder the ST4 port at first then you can get it out
