Sam and others can you tell me which power supply I need for the New ASI 1600MC-Cool (color)(USB) I did not see one on the ZWO sight .. would this power supply work.?

Interesting, the camera did not come with a Power Supply?

No.. the New ASI 1600MC-Cool (color)(USB) dose not come with a power supply. Not yet anyways.
I use a Kendricks 5A Quad power pack (34mAhr) that seems to work very well.
Also have a lighter duty Celestron Powertank which works too.

The ZWO website link for the ASI 1600 says 2.5 amp here

It says 12v - 2amp on the back of the ASI 1600MM as well
I'm a bit confused as to the amp requirement

yes, the power consumption of our cooled cameras are nearly the same
2A is the max current it need
but you'd better choose an AC-DC adapter can provide more than 2A current
