ASI1600 Windows 10 driver version

Enjoying the new camera :) . However, it suffers from the amp glow problem, which I understand has been addressed in a driver update.

Unfortunately, Windows 10 reports the driver as up-to-date at 1.0.0.3, dated 23/11/2014.

I've run "ASICamera ASCOM Setup V1.0.2.13.exe" but Windows continues to report the old driver, even after uninstalling/re-installing the camera software.

How can I get Windows to update the driver?

Just to add, the ASCOM "ASICamera Setup" dialog shows 'V6.0.2.13'. So does this indicate that I am running the latest driver?

yes, just make sure the ASCOM driver is newest

can you campare the data from our website

I think the amp-glow can be accepted by most people

I'm not really complaining about amp glow, just read that it had been addressed by driver updates and Windows seemed to show an older driver version than the current one. Clearly Windows is out to confuse!

Recently posted DS images (including my own) here (https://stargazerslounge.com/topic/268797-asi1600mm-cool/?page=3) show moderate amp glow. But I can live with that.

I'll keep an eye on any future updates.

the newest ASCOM driver improve it a litter

but your problem maybe because you use USB2.0 and adjust "USB Limit" too low

the right bottom amp-glow will go if you speed up the transfer speed
