What different Camera Control Software is being used with the New ASI 1600MC-Cool (color)(USB) camera.? and what software do you use.?

I am using APT with 1600MC-C.

I think auto cooling assistance function should be used for the camera, and APT

has it.

i tested the ASI 1600 with Sharpcap / AstroLive USB and APT 3.13

The best performance had AstroLive USB , APT is also great and Sharpcap will be great i think. But in this moment on my Mac OS X mid 2010 , 6,1 AstroLive USB ( for 2 users and zwo cam free ) worked very stable . You have the possibility to see live colourimages of the objects after stacking and live processing the incoming images this is great ; ))). F.e. after 20 x 8 sec M57 appears with two central stars and beautifoul colour on the Mac screen.

( Mead 10 inch focal without filters , without darks a.s.o .) The Programm AstroLive work on Windows / Mac OS X both.

In the backround the programm saved all the unprocessed images to develope later f.e. in PI in fits format . And you can see live that the image would be better and better while stacking, denoising , removing the gradient, sharpen etc.

Look at the programm at AstroLive.io . In APT i found any crashes

running in Parallels 11 / Windows 7 prof on my Mac ( 1 Tb SSD / 8 Gbyte RAM/ intel 5 ), but the programm is very good to .
