ASI 1600 Color Cool 3.0 USB camera connecting using sharpcap

Anyone having trouble with the New ASI 1600 Color Cool 3.0 USB camera linking up to SharpCap Version 2.9.2739.0 ?

I'm running Windows 7 Professional. I believe it's a driver issue because when I go down in SharpCap and connect to the ASI 1600 Ascom driver it links up perfectly every time. I did try reinstalling SharpCap and it did linked up perfectly the first time only, after that problems again started linking up. Any suggestions.?

Hello Al,

I have never had an issue running the 1600 with windows7 prof. in sharpcap 2.9.2739.0 but I will tell you that I sometimes have issues running thru a powered hub so I directly connect the USB3 to my computer with no issues.

I have had issues at running in full resolution as Sharpcap will lock up so for now I'm at 2x2 binning.

I'm hoping if someone comes up with a solution they will post it.

Just as a side note I've read on other forums that when connecting your camera to sharpcap make sure that all other cameras are disconnected like your guide camera, web cam etc... And as proof that has happened to me.
