Recommendation between zwo 1600mc and zwo asi 224mc

Hi all,

I am just looking into eaa for the first time and looking for advice from everyone.

Can you please recommend the ideal camera for live stacking and short exposures? I am currently comparing between the 1600mc and the 224mc.

1) Is the 1600mc overkill as I will only be using it with a 16inch dobsonian f4.4 and 6inch sct f10?

2) Would i need spacers to achieve focus?

Planning on using Sharpcap to stack images.

no, the back focus distance is 6.5mm you just need to adjust your focuser
