ASI 1600MM-C fan not working

Hi!

I've received today my new ASI 1600mm-c. Everything works ok on the camera but the cooling fan.

The only thing is that I plugged in a 12v 1,5A, because is the only power supply I have.

Peltier works properly and red light comes on but the fan doesn't move...

Is this the posible cause? Do I have to buy a 12v 2A power supply?

I've tried also with my telescope power supply, 12v 5A, and fan doesn't move...

Drivers problem? I've downloaded ASCOM V 6.2 and ASI camera ascom driver v1.0.2.16, and camera drivers setup v1.3.9.29...

Any suggestion?

did you try turn on the Fan in ASCOM user dialog?

Hi Sam

I had to uninstall all. Installed first camera driver from zwo site, and opening sharp cap suddenly fan started to work...

Then I installed ASCOM 6.2 and latest ascom driver, and the problem now is that I have no image either with Sharp cap, amcap or firecapture. Sometimes the image is black, sometimes white with some grey and white "squares" pattern on the top of the image.

When I install all drivers, the first time I connect the camera through usb 3.0 everything seems to be ok, but there is no image, but if I disconnect the camera and connect it again, my laptop doesn't recognize the camera, or tells me that usb has overpassed speed limit.

I guess the root cause is my new laptop with Windows 10. With my asi 120 had similar problem. I used it with my old computer with win xp several times and always worked ok, but when I buyed the new pc, 120 started giving me problems at high resolutions, connection cuts...Slightly resolved with the upgrading tool...

Any idea? This is frustating in so many ways...
