Hello there
I am about to upgrade my AuroraCam from a Raspberry Pi camera to a asi178mc camera that I just bought.
Today it looks like this, with only 1 frame per minute http://aurora.klo.no
My questions are:
1. Can we capture images with the Raspberry Pi without X-server like minibian or raspbian light?
2. What is the most effective or less cpu intensive way? driver? (asi sdk, indi etc.?)
3. I heard that maybe opencv with the asi sdk could be a solution but has anyone tested this?
It would be nice if it was a simple way to quickly capture a image from
the camera, headless or from a bash script by a few options like example this:
./capture width, height, rgb 50 50, gain, shutter image%04d.png
Maybe we should have a section for landscape images and timelapses?
