ASI 224 MC COOL Fan not working

Hi, I'm having a problem with the fan not cutting on. Amcap shows that it is on and cooling but the fan doesn't move. The camera also gets pretty hot to the touch. Sharpcap doesn't show any signs that it is cooling. I do have the latest drivers and newest ascom platform. Any suggestions?

did you plugin the extra power supply?

the cooler fan is controllable in the UI with our newest cooled cameras

you can turn it on or OFF

Yes I bought a power supply for the fan and in the UI it is switched on.

However... I figured out the problem. The fan is getting power but is stuck against the fan shroud so it's not letting the fan start properly. If I bump the fan with an object to get it spinning it runs fine... although you can hear the fan hitting the shroud while it runs.

The camera and temps all operate fine with the fan on. Just need to figure out how to fix the shroud.

I think you can loose some of the fan's screws to avoid such problem
