At the Hubble Legacy Archive I've found a downscaled image of NGC 2027 for comparison (http://hla.stsci.edu/cgi-bin/display?image=hst_06119_45_wfpc2_f555w_pc&izoom=1.000000&detector=PC&aperture=PC1&title=06119_45%20PC%20F555W%20(combined)%20NGC7027). This is a valuable tool to check image processing.

This tiny nebula is so bright, that it is almost like capturing the outer planets. I reprocessed another series of 2s-recordings (1800 frames in 6 videos of 10 minutes each) from october and processed them with Fitsworks and Registax. Image improvement of the stacked image is comparable to planetary imaging. I think this would be a rewarding object for the guys with the large amateur telescopes.

Nice NGC 7027 !

I like it very much, it's a very bright planetary nebula, it's possible to work in

nearly the same way as for Uranus/Neptune.

I've tried it in 2015 with a 400 mm telescope and ASI 224

IC 1747 is interesting, too. I captured it last winter, seeing was quite good:

I haven't tried NGC 6741 yet, though. It will be a target for my next deep sky session.

These are my images of IC 351 and IC 5217. Since the filaments in the halo of IC 351 and the odd hexagonal shape of IC 5217 are at the limits of what I can get my equipment to perform, it would be interesting to have some high resolution images for comparison to check, if these things are real. These PNs haven't been targeted by HST so far and amateur images of these PNs are also very rare.
