A highly respected user on Cloudy Nights suggested that perhaps I may have a sensor defect going on here. This is a 600" Dark frame with the lens cap on in a darkened room, taken at -10C.
At first he thought that perhaps I had been taking my darks outside at night and left the lens cap off because it looks like stars in the image frame. But no, I never make darks this way.
These artifacts are always in the same place (fortunately) otherwise I would have a very bad time managing a dark library. Any clue what this is, and does this constitute a sensor defect?
