ASI120MC-S Sharpcap Firecapture on VM = blank screen

Hi,

Just bought an ASI120MC-S, and facing some issues. Three actually.

I am using Windows 7 under Virtualbox from my MacBook Pro El Capitan.

Issue #1

I'm trying to use the camera with Sharpcap and I got a blank screen. I think this issue is common but I just couldn't find the answer in the forum.

Issue #2

Tried using Amcap that was installed with the driver, and also got the black screen.

Issue #3

Tried with Firecapture. Got this "capture failed" message in the preview window, and then the camera was disconnected with the message "multiple missed frames" before I managed to do anything.

The camera is fine since I can view the video output via oaCapture and PHD2 (Mac).

is the FPS is 0 with Sharpcap

try turning down USB traffic

does it work on true Windows

seems some problem with Virtualbox
