174 MM Frame rate

I have noticed a drop in my frame rate on full solar capture. Although this is dependent on ROI I seem to get variability at max ROI with range from 64 to 7 (width 1936 and height 1216). I have SSD drive and USB 3. I can send my session browser logs from fire capture if I can determine how to export them.

I'm currently testing the ASI 174MM on a solar spectroheliograph application....

Based on Gain 40, Gama 3 and USB traffic set to 43, I'm achieving a steady 78 fps, full frame (1936 x1216) on a MSI C64, i7 laptop fitted with 16Gb memory and a 500Gb SSD drive.

How do these figures compare?

how do you adjust USB traffic?

With the camera connected....

click the Cog "more" icon below the gama slider and the pop up window shows the USB traffic, third on the list.
