Drivers are driving me crazy. Unknown Device!

I've searched high and I've search low, I've searched near and I've searched far - and still am unable to solve the mystery as to why I am unable to install the drivers for my ZWO ASI-120MC camera.

OS: Windows 10 fully updated

USB PORTS: Have tried USB 2 and USB 3, all different ports - no hubs

Have installed uninstalled, deleted drivers, manually and automatically selected drivers.

Uninstalled all my USB device drivers and rebooted.

Uninstalled the specific ASI120MC camera software and the ASI USB3 general drivers packages.

Deleted Windows registry entries matching "ASI120MC" and ZWO by hand.

Tried different USB cables, short, long, medium, plain and gold-plated connectors.

In one instance, installing manually the ASI120 drivers, Windows 10 Device Manager reports drivers installed and device working successfully, but PHD not detecting a camera.

I'm at my wit's end. The camera has worked previously on my MACBOOK PRO laptop running BootCamp. Now it doesn't work.

Please help.

Should a lack of response by ZWO on my problem be construed as a lack of concern for their customers? I can't imagine any other reason why my post is being ignored. Thanks, ZWO. Marking your product lines off my list for consideration when I am ready to spend a few thousand dollars on a camera that WORKS from a company that CARES!

Well of course it doesn't appear to the computer as "your device," that's why there is a problem with the drivers installation.

Unless there are counterfeight ASI cameras on the open market, I'm pretty sure it is YOUR DEVICE.

Shall I post pictures of the camera so that you can tell me whether it is your device?

I've tried it on my Macbook Bootcamp (Win 10), on my desktop PC (Win 10), in Mac OS X (both on a MacBook Pro and on a desktop MacIntosh (late model). It used to work, now it doesn't work on any computer, using any version USB port.

Is it possible the firmware is corrupt?

I've connected/disconnected the camera physically to numerous ports with and without USB hubs, deleted every registry entry with ASI and ZWO and every ghost entry in Device Manager possible, restarted PC, etc. The camera used to work . . . but because the malfunction is the same across several different machines and OS's, I suspect the camera hardware is the problem.

It's been three days since I contacted ZWO via the Contact Us web-form at https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/contact-us/.

I have yet to receive any response to my request for support or confirmation of my attempt to make contact.

Do you have any ideas/suggestions?
