ASI1600MM-Cool Downloading...... eventually times out

It's been an issue off and on, but now it's mostly on.

It seems to happen fairly often during plate solving or anytime I change exposures. So if I am doing frame and focus at 1 second then PS for 10 seconds, then go to image for 90, 120, 300 seconds, at some point between all of that the image will just say downloading and nothing will ever happen. It just times out. I have played with the USB speeds and that doesn't fix it either.

Just recently it only downloads. I haven't been able to capture an image in several days.

I am using SGP 2.5.1.17

I am using ASI ASCOM 1.0.2.16

Any insight or ideas?

*The camera is on it's own USB port, no recent updates. It just went from working most of the time to no longer working.

I had the same problem ( see separate thread here ) Try reverting to http://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/software/ASICamera%20ASCOM%20Setup%20V1.0.2.13.exe

version of the ASCOM driver.

I read that some people reported different amp glow and issues with calibrations by mixing drivers. Is this still an issue?

I got off a good imaging run last night with the new driver (V1.0.2.19), no download failures. So far so good.
