I bought an ASI174MC with the aim of connecting it to a Raspberry Pi. Previously I was able to obtain images using the demo programs in the SDK. Now I just see a corrupted image and only ever get dropped frames. Before this problem I never tried using AMcap or SharpCap with the ASI174MC. When I do now I only get dropped frames. However AMcap and SharpCapture work as I would expect when I connect a borrowed ASI120MC.
It looks like this is a hardware problem with the camera. Is there anything I can try before I return it to the dealer under warranty?
