I just installed a ASI 174MC on my Win 7 machine. I don't see any image using the simple AMCap software.
I've installed the driver and the Win Device Manager shows the 174 camera installed. AMCap, FireCapture and SharpCap all show the camera is found, but all display a black screen. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this. Could it be a firmware upgrade is needed?
EDIT: I just took it back to the store. We tried another ASI174 camera and it didn't work. We also tried another cable. We know think it is the laptop. However, I don't know what could be conflicting with it.
My wife has some Adobe software on it, like Bridge and Photoshop. There is also some Nikon software on it. I can't figure out how to troubleshoot this at all. Any ideas? Could it be an IRQ conflict?
