ASI 290MM RAM issue

Hi guys

I've just taken delivery of a new ASI 290MM.

I've noticed an issue when I operate the camera under the new FireCapture V2.5 (64 bit).

I am operating a laptop using a 64-bit operating system under Windows 10, but there seems to be a performance issue.

Under Firecapture 2.4 everything is fine, but using 2.5 the RAM shown in the Status box is very low. Somewhere around 100MB. This compares to 850 and upwards in FireCapture 2.4.

As you would expect, this severely hampers capture. I'm not getting very far into a run before things start to slow considerably or come to a halt altogether until the RAM catches up.

Sam....or anyone else with knowledge of this issue?

That RAM bar can behave strangely - best way is to ask Torsten, author of FireCapture on app mailing list. I sometimes had problems with updates or other background tasks - if some were quite active FC reported less ram and the frame saving liked to lag.
