Stacking software for ASI1600MC

Hi guys

I am now the proud owner of an ASI1600MC camera. I have a few data sets of 150 subs and am having problems finding software that can cope with the volume of data. CCDstack 2, for instance, can only cope with debayering and registering 80 subs before I run out of memory. DSS, will not recognise my files (saved as FITS) at all when I try to open them as a set, though it is okay opening a single picture. Any idea why this should be?

I am away from desktop PC at the moment, so don't have thing exact spec, but it is an i5 with 12GB RAM running Windows 10 so has a reasonable amount of processing power.

What do you guys use to deal with these large files? Any help greatly appreciated.

I use Nebulosity for capture and stacking/processing. Seems to handle big files somewhat ok. For corner cases you may need a lot of RAM (check system resources when stacking is taking place)

I have also been having problems with Deep Sky Stacker. I purchased an ASI 1600mc-cool back in August and the camera has been doing very well for me. However...

When I try to stack in Deep Sky Stacker, it can't find any stars no matter what setting I put the threshold slider to.

PixInsight stacks it just fine, although it seems to take a really long time.

I am planning on trying some "Lucky Imaging" for planetary nebulas and expect to be using hundreds of subs or more. It would be nice if I could find a program that could stack them well without taking vast amounts of time.

Does anyone have any tricks for Deep Sky Stacker for this camera?

What other programs are recommended?
