EFW Mini - correcting vignetting due to filter offset?

Hi Folks

I have the new 1600mm-cooled and the EFW Mini.

I've noticed some pretty heavy vignetting on one and when i looked down the tube, I saw the filter wasn't quite in the correct place, so the filter tray was causing the vignetting.

Is there a way to adjust this on the EFW Mini or a way to offset it in software?

or is this a bad copy of EFW Mini and I need to return it?

overall i'm really happy, just this little glitch

PS - i have the 1.25" version of EFW Mini with the LRGB and Ha filters

i can grab you a pic in the daylight.

the situation appears the filter wheel is not responding to move commands

I'm using the ascom filter wheel controller 1.0.0.8 with nebulosity 4

it connects and loads the setup fine.

when i choose a different filter, the program pauses (like it should) and i see there is no movement on the filter wheel. after a while it returns and the filter position is always report 0/5 regardless of what filter i requested

any ideas?

SOLVED

it turns out i was using a USB 2.0 cable and an underpowered port on my computer.

FYI You really need a full 3.0 port and use the supplied cable to power AND move the filters.

it was giving enough power to connect and see the filter wheel, but not enough to move it.

UPDATE: so actually there IS enough power on USB2 to have filter wheel turn. the problem turned out to be the telescope connection screwed too far in and pressed against the filter wheel, causing it to not be able to move. The solution was to stick with the 1.24" nosepiece supplied from ZWO and all is now well.
