Filters and color cameras

I owe a ASI1600MC (color) camera.

I was wondering if the use of filters like a UHC-S nebula filter or other filters was possible or meaningful on such a camera.

Any idea ?

How does a filter fit onto the camera it has no female thread on the inside of the tube that attaches to the camera back?

Well, on my ASI1600MC-Cooled, 2" filters can screw on the T2-2′′ nosepiece and 1.25" filters can screw on the T2-1.25′′ nosepiece.

What camera do you have ?
