Apologies for the cry for help but I just bought a ZWO ASI224MC for the Holidays and I'm trying to learn how to use it. The manual and FAQ are only minimally helpful. The AMCap software is not user friendly to say the least. I'm willing to roll up and my sleeve and learn but I can't get started.
What I've done:
downloaded the driver.
plugged the USB cable into my laptop and the camera.
opened up the AMCAP program
chose ZWO ASI120MC camera in "devices"
chose "start capture"
nothing happened.
Now what?? How do I obtain a test image using the default wide field lens. I am not even trying to go to my telescope yet. Crawl before I walk before I run thing.
Can anyone out there (with patience) walk me through what to do or try?
