Hi
I am setting my capture software on my MacBook pro re the ASI224 Colour Camera and one of its options is as below?
When Debayer captured images option is turned on, the application assumes, that the camera you are using is an one-shoot colour (OSC) camera with bayer mask on its CCD chip. Even if captured images are always saved in the raw format to allow a correct image calibration and post-processing, it will be shown in colour in the application. You can set Offset X and Offset Y values to 0 or 1 to interpret RGBG, GRGB or RGGB patterns correctly.
Can anyone advise what this refers to and whether it is relevant?
Also Is it advisable to fit an IR CUT Filter to the camera?
