I have an AIS120MC which I received recently for Christmas. I can see color images using AMCAP but I only get gray images using Firecapture. Everything seems to be set appropriately in Firecapture. I do notice that Fireacpture will not allow me to select debayer. The historogram only shows a single color. Here is a printout of a text.txt, and as you can see the filter is set to L:
