Photoshop and FITS files

When working with FITS files from my ZWO174mm, out of FITS Liberator, can I import those files into Photoshop C2, or C3, or do I have to buy a newer version of Photoshop? The newer versions are quite pricey, so if I could buy version C2 or C3 it would be easier on our finances.

I only have installed photoshop CS6 on my Win10, it is able to open fit file, but the premise is that FITS Liberator is installed.
