asi 1600mc daylight focus

i would like to know how to make a daylight focus with my asi 1600mc

on a building for coarse focus....

when i use i use windows direct show in llive mode, the screen is white....when i put down the gain to minimum it is still white.....i have a celestron c11 and the filter wheell at a light filter.....

please help me....

Use SharpCap or FireCapture.

Put down gain and exposure to lowest (in the ms range).

Might still be too bright so you might need to mask your scope (and wait for a cloudy day).

Set exposure at 0.000032s fastest for the camera. This should give you a daylight image.
