Questions about 1600MM, mini EFW, and Canon adapter.

Just got a new 1600MM and so far it is amazing!

I have the camera attached to the Mini filter wheel, EOS thin adapter, and a Canon DSLR lens.

A couple questions:

1) The focus ring on the lens is far away from the actual focus with the camera. When I'm at actual infinity focus, the focus on the lens can be in the middle somewhere. Is this normal?

2) The sensor size is 4/3s so a 2x crop. My Canon EOS camera is a 1.5 crop, so going to 2x crop should make for slightly more zoomed shots. I don't see this. Seems the FOV is the same or very similar to the 1.5 crop.

Are these things normal? is it possible I've missed a spacer or something?

No complaints here, just a new user figuring stuff out. Thanks for reading.

this is normal as the distance is very hard to control especially after adding different thickness filters

you can use spacer which come with 1600

the FOV of 1600 should be smaller than APS-C, 1.0.5
