Recommendation for Eclipse Imaging?

I'd like to do a video of this year's solar eclipse, especially during totality. Will one of the ASI cameras, like the ASI1600, be suitable or would a DSLR be better?

It's a good quesion. if you want to photo solor total eclipse, maybe color camera is better, ASI1600MC-cool is a good choice. actually，I have a better suggestion, Using ASI071MC-cool. ASI071 is a APS-C color camera，you will have a much bigger FOV to take an amazing shot of solor corona.
