Native versus Ascom drivers

With my ASI071MC-Cool I am using the native driver from the website and SharpCap 2.9. I seem to have good camera control and image capture. Is there any advantage tousing the Ascom drivers?

Almost all astronomy software support ASCOM interface, suitable for DSO imaging or guiding, performance is poor.

SharpCap is suitable for plantary imaging.

Thank you for the quick response, but my question is this. If I am going to use SharpCap as an image capture program, is there an advantage to using the native driver versus the ASCOM driver? I know the ASCOM system will be a little slower, but are all the camera functions supported in the same way by both drivers?

at "native driver" SharpCap control camera through our SDK, and acturally ASCOM driver invoke the SDK to implete the function, but some function is not exposed to user because it's suitable for DSO imaging. native driver supports more functions, you can try both of them and compare.
