this is a stack of 90 15s frames at max gain, captured using SharpCap. optic was a Nikon AF-D 180ED f2.8. Shot from Elephant Butte Lake SP, in southern New Mexico. Skies were very good there.
If I had to do it over again, I'd drop the gain and up the exposure time a little; my alignment was pretty good, and the central star cluster wouldn't have gotten so blown out.
