i had to unscrew my adaptor m42mm from the camera

and i accidently open the casing of the sensor....

and it fall on my floor(the cover part)

i put it back on and screw the casing but when i took some imaging and this was my first light

there was some dust on the sensor and on the AR glass.

i blow the dust from the sensor and cleaned it with a photo paper with some alchool

on it.

and cleaned the AR glass also.

the problem that i have now is that on my imaging i have some kind of a red wipe in a circular pattern on my pictures. i have tried without the cover...sensor direct..but i have the same pattern

i will like to have any suggestions to solve that problem...

i have been very meticulous for the cleaning....

and there is no traces of this pattern on the sensor visualy

no residues....

but on the pictures it show the same pattern as shown on the picture

and this was the first time using it for dso

is it possible to have a RMA number...it is still on warranty

will it have some fees for maybe a repair...?

and how is the procedure and address to send it...?

Hi - have you tried to take any flats? My suspicion is that the remnants of your adventure would be removed if you applied flats to your images.

You might try that first before looking to repair this?

yes i will try....

but it is to have your baby crippled with a walker....

its been only 2 months that i have it...

sometime flats dont remove all....

according to zwo it is around 20000 to 30000 ADU

but i will make a try....

is there a coating on the glass of the sensor...?

i know that behind this glass there is the bayer matrix

but for the glass ....i dont know...

the casing got an AR glass with a coating but for the sensor....????

yap, I saw some dust on it . Please try to use alcohol clean the window and sensor. if it not work, you can send back to us and we will clean it.
