oaCapture broken after using profiles

Been using osCapture with a ZWO 178 with few problems until today. OaCapture crashes when connecting to camera(s) tried two different cameras that used to work.

Worked fine until I tried to store and use profiles.

Profiles selector showed the profile I saved last . Tried deleting all but default profile after reloading osC from scratch.

Restored from Mac time machine - no luck.

Acting as if it is still seeing an old initialization file or some thing like that. Can't find it.

Any suggestions other than:

Delete all files with osCapture in fileame ( other than images and .ser)

download latest oaCapture and install

Restore old oaCapture from time machine.

Anyone know of any files hidden in the system files that I need to get rid of.

I would be happy to skip using the profiles to get back to where I was 12 hours ago!

clearing all the related files , and a power down, restart and reload seems to have done the trick,

The only problem was finding the last one. the Mac finder could not find it - had to use Unix commands.
