Any success report with ASI120MM-S on RPi3?

Is anybody using successfully an ASI120MM-S (USB3.0) on a Raspberry Pi 3?

If so, what is your configuration (linux distro/version, indi/sdk) and experience (usable exposure times and bit depth, achievable fps, ...)

@ZWO: when you state "USB3.0 cameras is recommended for Mac & Linux users and fully compatible with USB2.0 host", do you mean you fully support linux? or is there any limitation or requirement?

I have just tested a ASI120MC-S on my RPi3 with both INDI and INDIGO driver, I use the default setting, connect in Kstars/EKOS on x86 Ubuntu, it works well, does the camera work on Windows?

Hi yang, thanks for the information. I don't have a 120MM-S, just considering returning my AS120MM (USB2.0) for an upgrade to USB3.

Can I ask which distro/version have you installed on the Pi3 (Ubuntu MATE 16.04, Debian Jessie, etc)?

Did you have it running for several hours of continuous shooting? I plan to use it as guiding camera.

Thinking in planetary imaging, how many fps do you get?

I have used it to exposure for 100 frames without problem with INDI driver, duration is 5 second.

video mode: 60FPS at highspeed mode when connected via USB3.0 port on Ubuntu PC,

the maximun speed is about 35FPS with USB2.0 port.

2016-11-25-raspbian-jessie.img is installed on my Pi3.

yes, ASI120S is supported well on RPi3

I use an ASI120MM USB2.0 as a guide camera through an RPi 3 Chained through another RPI 3 which connect to Ekos via a router and ethernet cable. Runs fine into Kubuntu 16.04. Am going to set Ekos up on KDE Neon with same set up next session.
