planetary imaging for ASI 071 MC

Hi all,

I downloaded planetary imager but when launching a play test the folder remains empty. It seems that the software is not compatible with the camera with a color sensor ?

Which soft would you recommend among the list for planetary imaging ?

Firecapture, Sharpcap, Genika, Prism ?

Firecapture and Sharpcapture are both good options.

I don't know the other two (Genika and Prism).

Hello,

I'm the author of Planetary Imager.

I suppose you're trying the Windows version; unfortunately this is only the very first beta version for Windows, so I was already expecting issues.

If you can provide me further details about your errors, however, I might get a working version very soon.

In particular:

1) Is it only a recording issue? Can you see images in the preview panel?

2) What output are you using? (Video, SER, images?)

3) If using SER, is the saving folder empty, or just filled with wrong SER files? I'm working on a SER compatibility issue for Windows right now, so that's expected, and it's going to be fixed in the next daily snapshot.

Also, if you could provide application logs (the content of the black "dos" window that opens together with the main application) that would really help a lot.
