Could any one Know Why this Sofware (SGR) offer as a unique alternative a .FIT format extentio file?? Is it not possible to choise any other extention for RAW files... Or yes ??

I´ve a ZWO AISI1600MC Color and I use Pixinsight as processing soft.

Could any body Know if this extentios "FIT" is right to calibration process?

FIT is not and extention file I know that real is FITS...

I don't think so. I'm using Nebulosity to convert my files to 16 bit Tiff files. Let me know if you find a work around. I just happened to have Nebulosity on my computer but I'm sure there are other less expensive ways to convert the files.

FIT and FITS is can be recognize by Pixinsight and MDL, and can be stack and calibration.

I only use Fits files with SGP and stack them in Pixinsight
