ASI 1600mm - cool M42 connection

I use a ASI 1600mm_cool together with an Atik EFW2 filter wheel and this is connected to the camera via the standard supplied M42 female to female adaptor.

I have decided to use a telephoto lens to image with and this is connected to the other side of the filter wheel. With this arrangement I cannot quite achieve focus. I need therefore to shorten the distance between the camera and the filter wheel by a few millimetres.

Is any one aware of a shorter M42 adaptor than the one supplied with the camera ?

Is the EFW2 has T2 female interface?

you can screw the camera into it if so
