ASI 120MM-S Gain for guiding?

I currently guide(ascom) with an asi120mm-S camera. My SNR seems to be on the low side even with 2x2 noise reduction and of course a dark library. It has been fine in the past but after a driver update, I am unsure if my gain settings changed, I never really checked them before for guiding.

So my question is, for guiding purposes what gain and offset should I be using on the 120MM-S?

I believe the default gain is 90%, which works.

Just use enough exposure (1-3s) and choose a star with enough s/n ratio.

guiding won't care offset

you can set the gain higher if there is no bright star

otherwise keep it between 50-80 should be ok
